In this history course, students will students will learn basic research and reporting techniques while learning about major myths and legends of ancient cultures in Egypt, Greece, Rome, Scandinavia, and America to gain a greater understanding of history! These skills will be reinforced with activities and projects, including recreating the mummification process, telling stories in a Greek theater, preparing for battle in a Scandinavian county, and learning Native American dances!!
History can be dull when it only exists in books. History was made by those who did and through the stories they told!
Cost: $164 per semester
Each student will receive a BYL T-shirt (one per student per year)
(Includes membership in the Young Leaders Association.)

Registration for this class is a semester long commitment. Early withdrawal requires four-week notice. Payments are due in full at the beginning of the semester. Building Young Leaders strives to Inspire Young Leaders to share their unique talents to 'Make a Difference' at home, in their communities, beyond.
We provide 'Interactive, Interest-based, & Inspiring' Academic Enrichment classes, and 'Always Clean, Always Classy,' Young Leaders Performing Arts classes for Youth/Teens & Children, PreK - 12 grade. Our unique Leadership Curriculum is woven throughout every class and every student holds membership in the Young Leaders Association and can participate in our monthly Leadership Summits.
